AMT Mobility Platform

Overview

AMT Mobility is a scooter and e-bike rental platform designed for urban mobility in the UAE. The platform supports two distinct user types — renters who book rides through a mobile app, and drivers who manage fleet pickups and deliveries — all coordinated through a real-time admin dashboard.

The Challenge

The client needed a full mobility platform from scratch: a customer-facing booking app, a fleet operations app for drivers, and a comprehensive backend that tied everything together. The system needed to handle real-time ride tracking, QR-based vehicle unlocking, dynamic pricing, and regulatory compliance for UAE vehicle rental operations.

What We Built

Mobile Applications (Expo / React Native)

• Renter App — Browse available scooters/e-bikes on a map, scan QR to unlock, track ride in real time, and pay through integrated payment gateway
• Driver App — Fleet pickup and delivery management, ride assignment, earnings dashboard

Admin Dashboard (React + Vite + Tailwind)

• Real-time fleet map showing all vehicles and their status
• Ride management, user verification, and dispute resolution
• Pricing configuration, trip reports, and revenue analytics
• Role-based access control for operations staff

Backend API (NestJS)

• Auth module with JWT, refresh token rotation, and 3 user types
• Assets module handling QR generation and vehicle tracking (S3 storage)
• Rides module with real-time status updates via WebSockets
• Pricing engine with surge pricing, promo codes, and fleet-level rules
• Reports module with exportable analytics
